Regional Solutions

WDI’s regional work occurs in 10 regions across NYS via our ten Regional Directors. Each of our Regional Directors covers large territories and spends a significant amount of time traveling their regions to identify  workforce trends, opportunities, and challenges. We see our role as working collaboratively with local partners to fill workforce gaps and niches that are not being addressed.

Common roles for WDI Regional Directors include:

  • Identification of a problem/challenge or opportunity (for one organization or many)
  • Connection of organizations with needs to resources
  • Facilitation of projects
  • Funding for projects (see Interactive Grants Program)
