Reopening of St. Lawrence County zinc mine celebrated; workforce exceeds 200

Under a sun-splashed sky, several dignitaries gathered with a group of miner trainees Tuesday morning to celebrate the resurrection of a century-old zinc mine that had been closed since 2008 and now employs more than 200 people with plans to expand.
