Mike LaBerta has been with WDI since 2008 after graduating from John Carroll University in Ohio. In 2012 he was promoted to Western New York Regional Director and has since developed many relationships with a network of businesses, trainers, educators, and workforce professionals.
Through visits, discussions, and program connectivity, he assists with workforce needs that serve a wide range of industries and sectors. Incumbent workforce needs and skills pipeline programs have been consistent areas of demand in the region, which entails developing creative solutions to meet employer needs.
