Regional Solutions

WDI’s regional work supports worker training and advancement in high-road employment. Regional Directors work with extensive partner networks to ensure workers have modern skills that lead to improved employment outcomes and open doors for people from all backgrounds to achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Our regional work relies on:

• Engagement with partners to understand workforce challenges and provide counsel on evolving workforce conditions.
• Knowledge of the regional workforce, including organizations that are training current and future workers and organizations that are hiring for inclusive, in-demand, high-road opportunities.
• Collaboration to strategize solutions and identify the resources to access existing programs and services or develop innovative solutions.
• A diverse array of tools including intermediaries that provide effective services or funding opportunities.
• Evaluating projects that advance job quality, inclusive employment, and have measurable, direct, worker-centric outcomes, and facilitating WDI’s grant process to achieve these outcomes.
