Building a Pipeline for the Workforce of Tomorrow

Career Jam 2022 was recently held at Siena College in Loudonville, NY with over 1,800 local 8th and 9th graders in attendance from twenty-four school districts. Approximately 65 employers took part in the program sharing first-hand knowledge about what is needed to secure a rewarding career in the Capital Region. Specifically, the following 18 Career Clusters were highlighted:

Not only does Career Jam inspire and encourage young individuals about pathways to a successful future, but it also informs and educates families and parents so continued discussion can help motivate an interest in a variety of careers. WDI was a premier sponsor of the event in support of helping to pave the way for a local workforce talent pipeline.
