Seasons Greetings! We would like to wish you all a safe and healthy holiday season.
Although these are indeed trying times in which we find ourselves, we remain optimistic that 2021 will be a different year. Vaccines and fiscal relief appear to be around the corner, and a renewed enthusiasm about the concept of “building back better” is in the air.
We also wanted to thank you all for your support on behalf of WDI this past fall, when our state funding appeared to be in jeopardy. The efforts of our many partners – those from unions, businesses, workforce and economic development entities, and government – had an effect and enabled WDI to issue its payments. Our staff never missed a beat during these months, and has continued to work with many of you on ideas to help re-start NY. We look forward to putting these ideas and plans into motion in 2021.
