Located in Herkimer, NY, Casestry is a business-to-business white label manufacturer that prints, packs, and ships custom printed goods such as phone cases, coffee mugs, and tumblers on behalf of enterprise retailers, influencers, celebrities and traditional media networks. Over the last several years, there has been an increased demand for retailers to sell their products online. To cut costs and expand their product offerings, many retailers are choosing to partner with white label manufacturers that support an “on demand” business model. An “on demand” business model means retailers are able to advertise an unlimited number of products and only produce products when the end consumer orders the product online. What makes Casestry unique is their utilization of a technology and process that results in a product that cannot peel, chip, or fade.
Formed in 2017 with just three employees, Casestry initially generated a modest revenue. However, just two years later Casestry had grown revenue exponentially, and doubled staff to six individuals.
With business booming, customer orders for Casestry’s products began to outpace production capabilities. In order to continue growing their business and expand their workforce, Casestry needed help to purchase new 3D press equipment that was expected to enhance production capacity. This is where WDI stepped in to assist Casestry with the purchase of this much needed equipment.
Recently, we received a report back from Casestry detailing the outcomes related to this project. Since purchasing the 3D press equipment, Casestry was able to increase their production capacity and subsequently hired four new employees. Although the recent COVID-19 pandemic has made additional hiring difficult, Casestry is hopeful that they will soon be able to hire even more employees.
